I just was at a yard sale last week and found an old Model Power HO track cleaning car.Oh boy were our models crued in the 70's. Any way i took an ON30 Bachmann flat car , using the floor of the HO flat car as a template and drilled through the deck of the Bachmann flat car . Then in stalled the tank that holds the cleaning fluid , painted it silver and weathered it.Then i used the plastic circular part of the HO cleaning car to hold the old cleaning pad.I then Super Glued and screwed (using the HO screw ) cleaning wheelto the underside of the Bachmann flat car. I built a small shack like building on the other end to shield the rain off the deisel moter i installed there. In true life logging operations the logging companies usually spray the tracks in case sparks come from the brakes of the locos , so mine is lettered WATER . I'm working on aditional details for the car as i compile photos from a car built by CANFOR on Vancouver Island BC.
